Chartered on June 2, 1955, the Optimist Club of Verona is a non-profit charitable organization. Through our small group of around 20 members and additional volunteers, we raise and distribute approximately $12,000 per year to youth programs, scholarships and community events. Our members vote on grants for youth sports, arts and academics and volunteer our time and talents to any organization that serves youth and families in the Verona area. We encourage youth to be their best through our Essay, Oratorical, Visual Arts and Scholarship Competitions.
